CARS: Car Seat Class

This is the class that is required by the Department of Human Services for day care and foster care providers. Others are welcome to attend. Prior to transporting children under the age nine (9), you must satisfactorily complete at least a 3-hour training on the proper use and installation of child restraint systems. This training must be provided by instructors certified and approved by the Department of Public Safety - Office of Traffic Safety and be repeated every five (5) years. The three hour child passenger safety training curriculum is approved by the Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety. Register by October 2nd.

Safe Home Alone

Know what it takes to be safe when home alone. An American Red Cross personal safety and basic first aid course for students who may stay home alone. Bring a water bottle and healthy snack. Must be age 9 or older. Register by October 5th.

Yoga

Yoga is for every BODY. This class is for beginners as well as experienced yogis. Modifications will be provided. No prior experience is necessary. Come learn how to move and breathe! Dress comfortably. Bring your own mat and yoga props, if you have some.

Aviation History and Science for Kids

In each class interesting milestones in aviation history will be presented along with hands-on science activities (like making your own hot air balloon). From hot air balloons to rockets, this class will be a blast! For kids in grades K-6. Bring a healthy afterschool snack and a water bottle. Register by September 22nd.

Body Sculpt
Rachel Koivunen

Strength training using hand weights and your own body weight to define, develop and tone. Each strengthening exercise can be modified to meet your fitness level. All exercises will be done together as a group. Feel great! Have fun! Participants will need to supply their own hand weights and mat. Register by September 13th.

Adult Basketball

A chance to use the gym for some casual basketball. This is just some time to play for the fun of the game. Anyone age 18 or older and not a high school student is welcome. Please register by September 22nd, you are not required to be there every Wednesday night.
